Elizabeth (Betsy) Rodriguez is vice president of human resources at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She has 25 years of human resources leadership experience specializing in organizational development, benefit management, risk management and diversity.
Before joining Barnes-Jewish, Rodriguez was vice president of human resources and general officer for the University of Missouri. Prior to taking on her role at the University of Missouri in 2008, Rodriguez held various positions with the University of Colorado where she served as assistant vice chancellor on the Denver/Anschutz medical campus, and was associate vice president for human resources for the university system. Prior to filling those roles, Rodriguez managed the state of Colorado’s Employee Benefits and Risk Management Department.
Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University; she attended graduate school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning both a master’s and a doctorate in psychology.
Rodriguez has served on the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) national board and the Association of American Universities HR Institute.
