Beginning his tenure as vice president of facilities and ancillary services in 2013, Gregory Patterson is responsible for environmental health and safety, facilities engineering, food and nutrition, housekeeping, parking, patient transport and public safety.
Prior to this role, Patterson served as the director of real estate services for BJC HealthCare, where he led and coordinated all real estate-related matters for BJC’s 14 million square feet real estate portfolio. This included all real estate acquisitions and dispositions, as well as leasing, fit-out construction and property management of the system’s 23 medical office buildings and numerous BJC Medical Group sites.
Before joining BJC in 2008, Patterson was Associate General Counsel for Saint Louis University, primarily responsible for the University’s real estate, construction and higher education legal matters.
A graduate of Saint Louis University, Patterson earned a bachelor’s in political science, master’s in education and a juris doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
