Magnetic Resonance Angiography
Magnetic resonance angiography or MRA is a type of imaging test that allows a doctor to look at the body's blood vessels.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the Heart
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses a large magnet, radio signals, and a computer to make images of organs and tissue in the body. In this case, the heart is imaged. MRI may be used instead of a CT scan when organs or soft tissues are being studied.
MR Enterography
Magnetic resonance enterography, or MR enterography, is a minimally invasive imaging test that allows your doctor to obtain detailed pictures of your small bowel.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the Bones, Joints, and Soft Tissues
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a large magnet, radiofrequencies, and a computer to produce detailed pictures of organs and structures within the body. It is used to diagnose medical problems.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the Spine and Brain
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a large magnet, radiofrequencies, and a computer to produce detailed images of organs and structures within the body, in this case, the brain and spine. MRI is used to help diagnose a health problem.
Muscle Biopsy
A muscle biopsy involves removing a small piece of tissue to diagnose disease. The tissue is usually removed using a needle.
Myelogram
A myelogram is a diagnostic imaging test done by a radiologist. It uses a contrast dye and X-rays or computed tomography (CT) to look for problems in the spinal canal. Problems can develop in the spinal cord, nerve roots, and other tissues. This test is also called myelography.
Mammogram
A mammogram is way to look at your breast using X-rays. It is used to find and diagnose breast disease in women. Your healthcare provider may order a mammogram if you have a breast problem such as a lump, pain, or discharge from a nipple. Your provider may also order one as a screening test. The test can look for breast cancers, benign tumors, and cysts before they can be felt.
Mastectomy
A mastectomy is a surgical procedure in which all or a portion of a breast is removed as a part of a treatment plan for breast cancer.
