Benefits of a Personal Trainer
Personal training with a physiologist provides a supervised approach to your fitness program. Exercise sessions are scheduled and the specialist is present during the entire session to provide demonstration, motivation and guidance to prevent injury.
The BJC WellAware Center provides personal training, an individualized approach to fitness designed to provide exercises at all levels with a highly effective, safe and time-efficient exercise program. Whether you are just getting started and need encouragement or guidance, or if you are a seasoned exerciser ready to take your program to the next level, a WellAware Center personal training session can provide the motivation and direction you need to achieve maximum results.
Each WellAware personal trainer has either their Bachelors or Masters Degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology. Our personal trainers are also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine or the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the largest and most respected organizations in the field of health and fitness.
Personal training sessions are available individually or in packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions. Each personal training session is forty-five minutes to an hour in length and can be scheduled at a time convenient for you. The exercise physiologist is present throughout the entire session to answer questions and provide feedback and motivation.
Package sessions must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase and are nonrefundable and nontransferable (nonrecurring packages only). Payment is due in full prior to the first training session for nonrecurring packages.
