John Beatty joined Barnes-Jewish Hospital as vice president of human resources in April 2007. Prior to joining
Barnes-Jewish, Beatty served as vice president for administration, Robbins & Meyers, Inc., a global
manufacturing company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, with 3,600 employees in 15 counties. As vice
president, Beatty served for three years as chief human resources officer and chief administration officer.
Prior to his work with Robbins & Myers, Inc., Beatty served as vice president of human resources at DT
Industries and in various human resources leadership roles at Rockwell Automation, General Electric
and Cincinnati Milacron. He earned a bachelor of arts from Eastern Kentucky University.
