Residents & Fellows Diversity

The Residents and Fellows Diversity Initiative aims to recruit and retain minority physicians at Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s Hospitals, as well as in the St. Louis community.

  • Nurses in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital 9400 nursery celebrated Cardinals Baseball opening day 2011 by dressing the babies in Cardinals t-shirts and red hats.
  • In a March 8, 2012 news conference, representatives from Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay unveiled the new 12-story Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health. The new center provides an upgraded environment with improved access to services for thousands of St. Louisans who have difficulty affording or accessing healthcare. <br /> <br />
