About The Foundation

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital serves as the connection between Barnes-Jewish Hospital and our family of charitable donors.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is the result of a 1996 merger of two highly respected medical institutions – Barnes Hospital and The Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. Before the merger, each hospital had established a rich tradition of medical excellence and exceptional care. Together, they continue to build on that tradition, making Barnes-Jewish Hospital one of America’s top hospitals.*

The Foundation is a not-for-profit, public charity.
Since 1996, we have raised funds to support
Barnes-Jewish Hospital, its mission and its affiliates, including Siteman Cancer Center,
Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital and Goldfarb School of Nursing.

Your gifts will enrich lives, save lives, and transform patient care.
Your gifts' impact on a patient’s life is immeasurable and is put into action by funding:

• innovative research for disease prevention and cure;
• medical education for doctors, nurses, and pharmacists;
• technology and equipment;
• care essentials like medicine and lodging for patients in need; and
• community outreach to promote health and wellness.

Your gift to The Foundation has more significance because we are part of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, one of the nation’s best hospitals.* To keep advancing, we need your support — because the help you give now will help ensure the best health care will be there when it’s needed for you or someone you love.

Give where care matters most.SM
