For the 20th consecutive year,
Barnes-Jewish Hospital and its
physician partners at Washington
University School of Medicine are
the only St. Louis-area hospital or
medical institution listed among
America’s elite medical centers in
U.S. News & World Report’s annual
Honor Roll of “Best Hospitals.”
Additionally, Barnes-Jewish was
ranked regionally as the No. 1 hospital
in Missouri and in the St. Louis
metro area.
Barnes-Jewish was listed as the sixth
best hospital in America, with 15
of its specialties achieving a ranking
of 15 or higher. Fewer than 150 of
the nearly 5,000 reviewed hospitals
performed well enough to rank in
even one of 16 specialties, including
cancer and urology.
