Center for Outpatient Health Offers Patients More Convenience

Barnes-Jewish Hospital continually strives to improve facilities to better serve patients and their families. One result of that effort is the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health, scheduled to open in March 2012 on the corner of Forest Park and Euclid avenues. This new center will improve the outpatient clinic experience in many ways, including consolidating care and services across the hospital’s clinic system into one area for patient convenience.

The center also will offer new services to patients, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (the medical use of oxygen at high levels to treat health issues, including non-healing wounds). In addition, the center will house clinics relocated from five sites around the medical center campus on three dedicated floors. The 12-story building will be connected via an enclosed walkway to the Center for Advanced Medicine.
