Update from the Missouri Physicians Health Program
Dr. Kodner,
As you are aware, the MPHP is working with the University of Missouri to develop a MOU relationship. This would provide renewable funding each year without the ongoing need of submitting an annual request.
The university has given initial approval and we are awaiting final approval in July. The format of the MOU is yet to be developed. Once this is all resolved, I would like to share this with you, Dr. Lynch, and Dr. Crane. This is perhaps a template for future support for Washington University, Barnes-Jewish and the Medical Staff Association.
Thank you for your ongoing interest and support. It is physicians like you that were responsible for the origin of the physician health movement and its continued availability to distressed physicians.
