American Heart Association Heart Walk Sponsored by Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital and Washington Unviersity School of Medicine have participated in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk for years. Heart Walk coordinators recruit walkers to "take the pledge!"

2010

The Barnes-Jewish Hospital Program Management Office recruited a team who walked together despite the rain.		Dan and Ruth from Perioperative Services pledged to live a healthy lifestyle and with their department lost more than 250 pounds.

2009

It was a sunny Saturday in 2009 for the Heart Walk, and almost 1,000 Barnes-Jewish employees walked.
