Washington University offers the only physicians' practice in St. Louis that is dedicated exclusively to providing gynecological and obstetric evaluations, including prenatal genetic diagnoses. All five physicians are board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and have completed fellowship training in either maternal-fetal medicine or genetics, and are additionally board-certified in these subspecialties. All sonographers are registered in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
In addition, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) at Washington University is accredited in the area of obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
