Dr. Wessell is a radiologist specializing in imaging of inflammatory and infectious conditions of the musculoskeletal system, sports medicine injuries, image-guided bone biopsy, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic spine and joint procedures, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty, and cementoplasy for stabilization of fractures, image-guided radiofrequency (RF) ablation and cryoablation for the treatment of benign and malignant bone lesions. A referral by your physician is recommended in most cases. However, Dr. Wessell does consult with some patients directly, particularly those who are potential candidates for vertebroplasty, or image-guided tumor ablation.
