Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR)

Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) is a two-day trauma essentials course built for acute care, critical care and perioperative nurses. This broad, core-level course is designed to provide evidence- based care practices beyond initial resuscitation. Partial Course Content:

  • Sepsis
  • Nutrition
  • Multiple organ failure
  • Geriatric and bariatric patients
  • Late complications
  • Alcohol withdrawal

Dates: Wednesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 20

Times: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Location: Steinberg Auditorium, Barnes-Jewish Hospital North Campus
