Jerry Vuchak joined Barnes-Jewish Hospital as vice president, information systems in April 2007. In this role he was responsible for developing information technology (IT) strategic plans and managing large-scale IT implementations. In August 2008, Vuchak was promoted to vice president, information services, academic hospitals and Washington University School of Medicine integration. In this role, he oversees the alignment and improvement of IT throughout Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, in partnership with Washington University School of Medicine.
Vuchak has 25 years of experience in the information technology field. He earned a bachelor of science in computer science from Bowling Green State University–Bowling Green, Ohio. He earned a master’s in human services from Capella University.
