increase the number of promising projects that translate laboratory breakthroughs into clinical research at Siteman.

decrease the time between ideas and results.

unlock the mysteries of cancer genetics.

lead to new tests, imaging technologies, drugs, vaccines, or other therapies that allow physicians to give all patients exactly what they individually need to survive their cancer…or to stop cancer before it starts.

“Our work to uncover the genetic and molecular basis of cancer is leading to more accurate diagnoses, more targeted therapies, and even new treatments that may prevent the disease entirely,” says Timothy Eberlein, MD, Siteman Cancer Center director.  "We are entering a new realm of personalized medicine, and Siteman Cancer Center is leading the way.”
