At our west St. Louis County location, we offer the best in outpatient orthopedic services, including outpatient surgery, sports medicine care, and comprehensive rehabilitation services. Our 60,000 square-foot-facility opened in July 2007 and is staffed by Washington University orthopedists and equipped with a full range of advanced diagnostic imaging technology such as arthography and MRI. Conservative, non-operative treatment options are also available and include a wide range of physical medicine therapies as well as joint injections for pain management.
If outpatient surgery is needed, our orthopedic surgeons are highly skilled in minimally invasive procedures designed to enhance recovery while minimizing the risks normally associated with open surgical procedures. Knee and shoulder arthroscopy, hand and elbow surgery, foot and ankle procedures and sports injuries often can be treated with minimally invasive techniques.
Orthopedic procedures are performed in one of four outpatient surgical suites or in two procedure rooms.
