Harrison Black: Heart Transplant

Harrison's granddaughter suffered from congestive heart failure, and received a heart transplant just after her second bithday. When Harrison suffered a heart attack, he learned he would need a transplant of his own. Gregory Ewald, MD, a Washington University cardiologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, gave Harrison the confidence and encouragement he needed during his wait for a new heart and his recovery after transplant.
