Each year, one in every three adults age 65 and older falls. Falls can cause moderate to severe injuries, such as lacerations, hip fractures and head injuries, and can increase the risk of early death. Fortunately, falls are largely preventable. Join us for our annual Fall Prevention event to learn your risk for falls and tips to prevent falling. A multidisciplinary team of health providers will be available to answer questions and stations will be set up for:
  • Blood sugar checks
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Medication review
  • Vision screening
  • Balance screening
  • Strength and range of motion assessment
  • Gait assessment
  • Risk management
