Jennifer Arvin became director of communications and marketing for Barnes- Jewish Hospital in 2011 and prior to that was public relations manager since 2000. She is responsible for branding, advertising, strategic marketing, public relations and internal and executive communications.
She has developed and nurtured branding as a tool to drive employee engagement and enhance patient experience.
Prior to joining Barnes-Jewish, Arvin was manager of marketing and public relations at Sacred Heart Health System in Allentown, PA, an Ascension Health facility. She began her career at Medicine Shoppe International, a franchise pharmacy chain based in St. Louis, as the marketing manager for the southeastern U.S.
Arvin received her bachelor’s in journalism and broadcasting from Southern Illinois University and a master’s in marketing from Webster University in St. Louis.
