Dr. Kiehl's practice is a Direct Access Practice. Patients pay an annual fee to retain her as their physician. She limits the number of patients in her practice so that she can provide unhurried care. The fee covers all physician services whether in the office, hospital or on the phone. This annual fee is not typically reimbursed by health insurance providers. This practice does not accept or file any insurance plans. Dr. Kiehl focuses her practice on adults with rheumatologic conditions including: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, scleroderma, myositis, gout, pseudogout, joint aspirations, joint injections and joint pain.
