  • World-class shopping and dining at locations like the historic and fully renovated 1894 Union Station and the St. Louis Galleria, in addition to several eclectic and historic neighborhood districts, including nearby Clayton, Soulard, the "Hill" (a traditionally Italian neighborhood), the Central West End, and the University City Loop

  • Forest Park, located just west of the hospital, offering 1,400 acres of land for in-line skating, biking, walking, running, golf, tennis, and other sports and activities.

  • The St. Louis Science Center

    The Saint Louis Art Museum, the Saint Louis Zoo, the Missouri History Museum, and the St. Louis Science Center

  • The Missouri Botanical Garden, a national historic landmark, features plant species from around the world as well as a Japanese Garden and the Climatron, a geodesic dome inspired by the work of R. Buckminster Fuller.

  • The St. Louis Wheel at Union Station, a 200-foot high observation wheel with 42 fully enclosed, climate controlled gondolas. Excellent view of the St. Louis Skyline during a 15 minute-ride.
