Volunteer Services

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

At Barnes-Jewish Hospital, our volunteers become part of the care team by assisting patients and families or by assisting the people who care for our patients. Feedback from both staff and families indicates that having caring volunteers in the hospital truly makes a positive difference at a critical time in their lives.

Because of our patient care focus, we are always looking for those people who wish to be of help to others, have good communication skills and are willing to be flexible. We offer an opportunity for a meaningful experience and the chance to make a difference in people's lives. We ask volunteers to support our mission of taking exceptional care of people.
