Fifth Annual Cancer Wellness Fair Returns to A.G. Edwards

March 9, 2005, ST. LOUIS — The fifth annual Cancer Wellness Fair for cancer patients, survivors and their families and friends is Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Learning Center at A.G. Edwards Headquarters, 2801 Market Street in St. Louis.

Local experts and professional practitioners will lead breakout sessions on complementary therapies, stress and relaxation management tips, gentle stretching exercises and other activities. Booths will provide the latest information on health and wellness for cancer patients and their families.

Cancer survivorship consultant Susan Leigh, RN, serves as keynote speaker with a presentation titled "I Survived Treatment – Now What?" focusing on life beyond cancer. In addition, Wild Oats'' Scott Emanuel will host a demonstration on healthy cooking and Siteman Cancer Center dietitian Leni Javier, RD, will discuss "Keys to a Healthy Diet."

The event is sponsored by the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Wellness Community and FOX 2.
