Mark Halstead, MD, is a Washington University sports medicine physician at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He treats adults and children for sports and recreation-related injuries, and is director of the Sports Concussion Program. He is a team physician for the St. Louis Blues. Dr. Halstead's special interests include the non-surgical treatment of sports-related injuries and overuse problems, as well as concussion mamagement, exertional compartment syndrome, back pain in adolescent athletes and injuries and pain in runners.
