Brain Works

Understand the wonders of the human brain, the most complex organ in the human body. Enjoy a fun-filled evening as you learn from Washington University neuroscience specialists and participate in hands-on demonstrations, educational booths, and even have the opportunity to hold a real human brain specimen.

Join Eric Leuthardt, MD, and Albert Kim, MD, PhD, as they “build” a human brain, from individual cells to brain regions. Understand how tumors or injury can affect specific functional areas of the brain, including language, movement and vision.

Also learn about the innovative therapies and technologies used at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital to treat patients with diseases that impact the brain.
