The Siteman Cancer Center is once again a finalist for a Community Impact Project grant from the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LIVESTRONG program and needs online votes from the public as the final step in the grant process. Applications receiving the most votes from the public will receive a grant.

Pedal the Cause, the annual bike challenge raising money for cancer research at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine as well as St. Louis Children’s Hospital, will announce research 12 projects made possible by the 2011 event.

Award-winning vocalist and actress Minnie Driver will perform at The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s annual illumination gala benefiting the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine, Saturday, April 14 at The Ritz-Carlton in Clayton.

Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital have broken ground on the new Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center in south St. Louis County.
