  • Breast-Conserving Surgery
    Breast-conserving surgery (BCS) is sometimes called a lumpectomy or a partial mastectomy. It may be done as part of a treatment plan for breast cancer. With BCS, only the part of the breast that has cancer is removed.
  • Sigmoidoscopy
    A sigmoidoscopy is a diagnostic test to check the lower part of your colon or large intestine (the sigmoid colon). This part of your colon is close to your rectum and anus.
  • Sinus X-ray
    A sinus X-ray is an imaging test that uses X-rays to look at your sinuses. The sinuses are air-filled pockets (cavities) near your nasal passage.
  • Skull X-ray
    X-rays use invisible electromagnetic energy beams to make images of internal tissues, bones, and organs on film. Standard X-rays are done for many reasons, including diagnosing tumors or bone injuries.

    A sleep study is a number of tests done at the same time during sleep. The tests measure specific sleep characteristics and help to diagnose sleep disorders. Read on to learn what to expect.
  • Stress Myocardial Perfusion Scan
    Myocardial perfusion is an imaging test. It's also called a nuclear stress test. Its done to show how well blood flows through the heart muscle. It also shows how well the heart muscle is pumping.
