Diabetes Foot Care

Foot and lower extremity care is often an overlooked component of diabetes treatment, yet it's vital because diabetes increases the risk of foot problems and vascular problems in the lower extremities. Attentive foot care can prevent serious complications from developing.

Part of your treatment at the Diabetes Center includes foot care from a certified foot nurse who provides thorough exams and provides nail, callus and wound care. The foot nurse works in a designated foot care area equipped with a specially designed chair for exams and treatment.
