  • Orthopedic Surgery. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, Barnes-Jewish provides intensive treatment for multiple trauma patients and such complex cases as total joint reconstruction, spinal corrections, oncology procedures, and hand surgeries.

  • Cardiothoracic Surgery provides services for patients who require complex cardiovascular procedures, lung-volume reduction surgery, lung transplants and implantation of cardiac assist devices.

  • ENT at Barnes-Jewish is nationally recognized as a leader in head and neck surgeries for their advancements in areas such as free flap reconstruction, acoustic neuroma surgery, trauma plastic surgery, and cochlear implants.

  • Our Neurosurgery center is the Midwest’s leader in stereotactic neurosurgery, micro-neurosurgery, and aneurysm repair, performing over 1,500 procedures each year.

  • Gynecology provides services for patients who require diagnostic laparoscopies, hysterectomies, laser ablation, and anterior/posterior repairs.
