ONE OF THE NATION'S TOP TRANSPLANT CENTERS
The PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Residency Program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital an ASHP-accredited program designed to allow the resident an opportunity to advance their clinical knowledge and judgment beyond that of a PGY1 pharmacy resident. The resident will enhance their decision making skills and ability to provide evidence-based, patient-centered pharmaceutical care to solid organ transplant recipients and living organ donors in the interdisciplinary team setting. The resident will be able to communicate effectively and exhibit skill in educating patients and other health care professionals. Residents completing this program will be prepared to practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist who is able to provide optimal pharmaceutical care to transplant recipients in both the inpatient and outpatient environments within a comprehensive transplant center.
This PGY2 residency participates in the ASHP residency match program.

Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy (or one in the process of pursuing accreditation) or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the NABP, successful completion of an ASHP accredited or candidate status PGY1 residency, and licensure in Missouri with MTS certification is required.
