Ultrasound (Genetics and Prenatal Diagnosis)
The Ultrasound / Genetics section at Washington University School of Medicine is the only physicians' practice in St. Louis dedicated exclusively to providing gynecologic and obstetric evaluations through state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and the latest diagnostic techniques. Obstetric evaluations include comprehensive ultrasound evaluations of fetal anatomy and prenatal genetic diagnosis through genetic amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).

Maternal-Fetal Medicine (High Risk Pregnancy)
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Consultants of Washington University School of Medicine specialize in providing obstetrical services to women diagnosed with high-risk pregnancies, including those expecting multiple babies. The practice manages the delivery of approximately 300 high-risk pregnancies each year, including the delivery of more than 50 percent of the triplets and quadruplets born in the St. Louis area.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology provides a full line of services for women from menstruation through menopause. The division may best be known, however, for its work with couples facing infertility by providing individualized diagnoses and treatments for ovarian factor, male factor, pelvic factor, cervical factor and unexplained infertility. The division's Advanced Assisted Reproductive Technology Program was the first in the State of Missouri to offer in vitro fertilization (IVF) services. IVF offers hope to couples who are unable to achieve a pregnancy through less-invasive treatment method.
